The Tending Circle is a relational wellness service offered by A. Meliora Relational Wellness. It is not a mental health service, psychotherapy practice, or clinical treatment program. Participation in the Tending Circle does not establish a therapist-client, counselor-client, or any other licensed clinical relationship. Nothing communicated through the Tending Circle — whether in sessions, written materials, or correspondence — should be construed as clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services.

Contacting us by phone or email to ask questions about the Tending Circle service — including questions about pricing, availability, session structure, or suitability — does not constitute, create, or imply any contractual agreement, obligation, or commitment on the part of either you or A. Meliora Relational Wellness.

A formal agreement to participate in the Tending Circle is established only when you complete enrollment and payment through our membership portal. Until that step is completed, no service relationship exists.

This section is provided in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), which applies to any commercial website or online service that collects personally identifiable information from California residents.

We collect the following categories of personally identifiable information (PII) from users of our Site and participants in the Tending Circle service:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Payment information — processed securely through Stripe via our membership portal (we do not store your full payment card details)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and administer the Tending Circle service
• Process payments for memberships and services through our membership portal
• Respond to inquiries submitted via phone or email — noting that such inquiries do not create a contractual relationship
• Communicate with enrolled participants about scheduling and program updates via Google Workspace email
• Analyze website usage and improve our Site experience via Google Analytics

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with the following service providers, solely to operate our Site and deliver the Tending Circle service:

• Squarespace — our website hosting platform
• Stripe — our payment processor for membership and service transactions
• Google Workspace — used to send and receive email communications with you
• Google Analytics — used to analyze website traffic and usage patterns

We do not use remarketing services, advertising networks, or social media integrations, and we do not display advertisements on our Site.

Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Google Analytics may collect information about your activity on our Site. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by visiting tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You may request to review, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@ameliorawellness.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will notify users of material changes to this Privacy Policy by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or the Tending Circle service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

• Financial information — payment data processed and stored by Stripe; we do not retain full card details
• Internet or other electronic network activity — website browsing behavior collected via Google Analytics
• Commercial information — records of services purchased through our membership portal

• Contact information collected via phone or email inquiry is retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry
• Contact information for enrolled participants is retained for the duration of participation and a reasonable period thereafter
• Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable financial and tax regulations; full card details are managed solely by Stripe
• Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with our Google Analytics account retention settings

• Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Right to Correct — You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

• Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Payments for Tending Circle memberships and services are processed through our membership portal using Stripe. When you submit payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe using secure encryption. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details.

A contractual agreement for the Tending Circle service is established only upon successful completion of enrollment and payment through the membership portal. Prior phone or email inquiries do not constitute or initiate this agreement.

Stripe's data practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

Our Site, hosted on Squarespace, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors interact with our Site. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or social media tracking.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at info@ameliorawellness.com and we will take prompt steps to delete it.
